Bass Player Magazine naming Bernard Edwards as the 53rd greatest player is far to low. His groove and funk bass lines are iconic. He should probably be in the top 25 I would think.

I was good friends with Jay and Thom Case of "Chicken Hot Rod" at the NC Governor's School in the summer of 1963. He was a lot of fun and could play anything by ear. His version of "Mockngbird" set everyone to dancing.

And the CENTRAL tavern in Seattle. I'll tell ya my initial Fetchin' Bones story. I was wondering around my local Tower Records in Tacoma Washington. They were playing MONSTER on the indoor sound system .I used spend a shit load of time deciding what record(s) to buy. I was digging the songs i was hearing on the stores sound system so much i asked who it was. Anyway i bought MONSTER. Absolutely love that CD. I wish i could find it.I kept most of my albums and cd's dating back 50 years. I bought all or most of the Fetchin Bones albums mentioned here but I'll be damned if i can find MONSTER. And that breaks my heart. I love it. I got my late buddy Doug Arcuri into being a Fetchin Bones fan too. Thanks for the memories. 🤘

I saw them opening for Red Hot Chili Peppers and they blew that show up!!! Such a great band...

Love him from the beginning of American Idol to Now love him more! He’s the Very Best of the Best! Cause He’s the Real deal! Love his Baby boy Avery! He’s going to be A Legend and On the 20th of April he’s going into the Opry As A Member!

Carol and Gerry lived across the street from me at 2635 Brown Street in Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn when I was 9 years old. They had a maid or a babysitter. A black young teenager named Eva. Eventually she recorded a song they wrote called 'The Loco Motion'.😊

Unforgivable how Edwards was excluded from the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Instead they admitted Nile Rodgers as a solo artist. The committee didn't want to vote in a "Disco Band" but had no problem voting in Donna Summer.

Just a pity about the so-called "Hall of Fame" story which is unGodly and unchristian and worldly. Jesus said taught us that those in the world love to laud it over them how wonderful and fantastic they are who love the praise and accolades of men but those who are part of God's Kingdom, His Children, are the least among them, they are humble and not proud. As John the Baptist said, "I must decrease and Christ must increase". We saw what happened to Jimmy Swaggart who could not resist the temptations of the Devil and brought shame upon the name of Christ.
